After an encounter with a Rev Raptor, the group finds out the ruins have been excavated, but find one fragment left. After defending New Helic City, the group would head to the Gurrill ruins. Van becomes rivals with a Guylos ace Raven. Before long, the group would be caught up in the war between the Helic Republic and Guylos Empire. Later on, the two would run into Moonbay, who forces Van to become her bodyguard. With some help from the Gordos, Van is able to defeat Irvine and head out, this time to find the Zoid Eve. Van is able to get to his Liger, and battles Irvine's Command Wolf. Before they can set out, Irvine returns, and kidnaps Fiona. She tells Van this, and they decide to look for Zoid Eve, in hopes of Fiona regaining her memory.
Fiona becomes separated from Van, and happens across an ancient pillar, and remembers something called the " Zoid Eve".
There, the group run into a white Gordos, which attacks them. On their adventure, they happen upon a mercenary, Irvine, who gives them food, and directs them to an old military base. After Van defeats the bandits, he decides to leave with Fiona and Zeke, knowing that if he stays, his village might be attacked again. During Van's fight with the bandits, Fiona puts her hands together in a praying motion, and Zeke (who was knocked out) quickly fuses with the Liger. Fiona does so, but she literally watches him run to his Shield Liger. While Van wants to go after her, the villagers stop him, and tied him up. Fiona is accepted into the village and during this time, Van's sister is kidnapped. During this confrontation, she mentions the name "Fiona", and Van decides to name her this. On the way there, Van tried to talk to her, though she appeared to lack any common knowledge, including her past and name. Van was surprised by this (as he thought it would be a Zoid like Zeke), and decided to take her back to his village. Despite Zeke being found first, the Organoid brought Van back to the ruins and helped him open Fiona's capsule. It was not until Van Flyheight happened upon their capsules that she was released.
Fiona was kept inside this capsule for a long period of time the actual duration of this stasis is unknown. She was alive during the era of the Ancient Zoidian civilization, and was able to escape their destruction along with the Organoid, Zeke, by being placed into capsules. Detailed capture zone analysis should be performed during system design.Much of Fiona's past is unknown. The methodology presented in this study can be used to assess the feasibility of PV-powered P&T systems without energy storage, in terms of capture zone width, anywhere within the continental United States. The applicability of the developed methodology is illustrated with two actual sites where groundwater remediation has taken place. Maps depicting predicted capture zone widths for specified transmissivity values and a hydraulic gradient are developed. The study presented in this paper focuses on developing a feasibility level methodology to estimate capture zone widths for photovoltaic (PV)-powered P&T systems without energy storage throughout the continental United States as a function of daily average solar insolation data, transmissivity, and hydraulic gradient. An appropriate delineation of capture zones is necessary to design an effective P&T system. Pump and treat (P&T) is one of the most commonly used technologies to remove and/or contain contaminated groundwater.
